Softhouse at Casaornella – Mediterranea

Softhouse will participate in Fuori Salone 2025 at Casaornella, the project conceived by Maria Vittoria Paggini, now in its third edition. Casaornella, a gallery particulier first unveiled at Milan Design Week 2023, returns this year with the theme Mediterranea – Andamento Lento, celebrating a journey through cultures and visions that boldly reinterpret the codes of interior design.

For this edition of Casaornella, Softhouse presents some of its most iconic pieces:
• Cabochon Sofa, featuring sinuous armrests and upholstered in green velvet from the Softhouse collection.
• Duetto Armchair, designed for Softhouse by Lucia Ippolito, upholstered in Coroube electric blue fabric by French brand Métaphores.
• Giulia T Armchair, also designed by Lucia Ippolito, covered in green wool felt by Kvadrat.
In this context, Maria Vittoria Paggini signs an exclusive capsule collection for Softhouse, blending craftsmanship and material research: Motel. A narrative journey where design meets the theater of life, turning each piece into a character that forms the story of an imaginary hotel, a place rich in mystery and charm.

The Motel Capsule Collection
The collection includes beds, coffee tables, nightstands, and wardrobes, crafted in a refined balance of wood, textiles, and premium materials, ideal for private interiors and exclusive hospitality spaces. Thanks to Softhouse’s in-house carpentry, every piece is meticulously crafted and customizable, embodying timeless savoir-faire. Motel is more than just design—it is an experience that invites dreaming and storytelling. Each piece has its own personality, becoming a silent protagonist in everyday life.

The Key Pieces of the Motel Collection
• Romeo Bed Strong and imposing, Romeo is the heart of the Motel. Its enveloping headboard resembles a throne, offering the perfect blend of aesthetics and functionality. Upholstered in midnight blue bouclé, it stands out with its soft, sculptural lines, creating an iconic and timeless design that redefines comfort.

Versatile and refined, Last Call nightstands are part of the Motel collection, designed by Maria Vittoria Paggini for Softhouse. Featuring a 100% Gloss lacquer coating and an elegant Flute mirror detail, they include a hidden drawer, making them suitable for both residential and contract projects.

Toy Boy Coffee Tables & Side Tables Versatile and sophisticated, Toy Boy seamlessly
fits into any setting thanks to its essential geometric shapes and refined finishes. With
high-gloss lacquer coatings (Gloss 100%), these tables are perfect for both residential
and contract spaces, maintaining a strong and contemporary identity.

Thelma & Louis The most extravagant duo of the collection. These 70×70 cm coffee
tables feature bold Gloss 100% lacquer finishes and a central insert of Fluit mirror,
making them true statement pieces that capture attention.
Softhouse at Casaornella 2025 is an immersive experience that merges design, storytelling,
and materiality, taking the art of furniture design to a new level of expression.
