SOFTHOUSE HAD UNVEILED
Softhouse was thrilled to announce its debut at the Palazzo delle Meraviglie during Milan Design Week 2024. The event, hosted at the prestigious Casa Manzoni from April 16 to 21, presented an extraordinary opportunity for the company to showcase its collection to an international audience.
AN ODE TO ITALIAN DESIGN
Palazzo delle Meraviglie served as the backdrop for a selection of iconic products reinterpreted in a modern key. It was a chromatic journey between past and present, set up in the central halls of Casa Manzoni. The heart of the exhibition was the Sala Studio, where the Grigio sofa, a sophisticated reinterpretation of its iconic predecessor Grigio Chiaro, welcomed visitors with its soft curves and timeless elegance.
The Sala Camino, offered a more enveloping atmosphere with flesh tones and hints of terracotta that embraced guests in a warm embrace of chromatic suggestions. Here, the iconic Gatsby sofa, a jewel of the company created by director Mariella Torri in 2015, will emerge with its fluid and seductive lines that embody cosmopolitan elegance and an invitation to joyful relaxation.
Finally, the Cipria armchair and the Vico sofa. Cipria, with its elegant and minimal design, is upholstered in Pierre Frey “Marina” fabric, suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. Thanks to its versatility, it is perfect for furnishing private residences and hospitality. The Vico sofa, on the other hand, stands out for its traditional design, large and comfortable, completely padded with feathers. It furnishes classic and contemporary environments with style.
The Diamond Collection
But the real novelty of the Fuorisalone was the Diamante collection, consisting of three sofas and an armchair that draw inspiration from the cuts of precious stones. Sinuous lines, precious details, and a refined color palette define this collection with a timeless charm.
The protagonists of the collection:
- Cabochon Sofa: with soft and enveloping lines, it stands out for its round armrest that also acts as a support surface.
- Baguette Sofa: a modular sofa, characterized by rectangular sections that recall the cut of precious stones.
- Diamante Sofa: a sofa with a linear and refined design, with a slightly flared armrest.
- Huit Huit Armchair: an enveloping and comfortable armchair, upholstered in Pierre Frey “Caprera” fabric from the Bellagio collection, a playful and graphic jacquard fabric that reinterprets a stylized ladder design on a textured background with a natural look.
