On the occasion of Milan Design Week, Softhouse announces its participation in the fourth edition of Casaornella, the exclusive project conceived and curated by designer Maria Vittoria Paggini. Located in the heart of the 5Vie district, specifically in Via Conca del Naviglio, Casaornella transforms this year into a stage dedicated to the theme “Social Animal” (Animale Sociale), exploring the dynamics of conviviality and human interaction through design.
Softhouse confirms itself as the absolute protagonist of the living area, showcasing its iconic upholstered furniture that perfectly dialogues with Casaornella’s bold and refined aesthetic. At the center of the setup stands the Les Baguettes sofa, part of Softhouse’s prestigious Diamante collection. The design of this unique piece stands out for its individual segments that recall the famous cut of precious stones, creating a play of generous volumes and sinuous lines. The soft and dynamic silhouette of the sofa is enhanced by a refined sage green cotton velvet upholstery, selected directly from the Softhouse fabrics collection.

In perfect harmony with the “Social Animal” theme, designer Maria Vittoria Paggini has reinterpreted two iconic Softhouse seats, giving them an unprecedented and unconventional look. The Duetto armchair, designed by Lucia Ippolito for Softhouse in 2015 and characterized by its unmistakable double backrest, is now presented upholstered in a luxurious cerulean Sulley fur. This soft natural fur entirely envelops the armchair, transforming it into an exuberant and highly scenographic piece of furniture.

In parallel, the Huit Huit armchair sees its round and welcoming shapes enhanced thanks to the use of chocolate-colored Kondoo fur, which gives it an irresistible teddy effect, inviting relaxation and sociality.
